Equipment Remarketing LLC builds and sells the flatbed trucks and semi trailers that carry piggyback forklifts — and we do the work ourselves. Our main facility in Northeast Indiana, just outside Fort Wayne, handles used trailer and truck repair, modification, fabrication, sandblasting, paint, and full semi trailer service. It's also where we manufacture our piggyback universal mounting kits, including the EZ Hitch combo kits that mount either a Moffett or a Princeton off a single kit. We stock Great Dane, Utility, Transcraft and Fontaine trailers in 36', 45', and 48' lengths, flat deck and step deck, steel and aluminum combo. On the truck side we run primarily Freightliner and Kenworths.

Three miles down the road, our forklift shop rebuilds the machines that go on back. We're a used Moffett dealer first — over a hundred units in inventory at any time — along with Princeton, Manitou, and Navigator, and we're the authorized Loadmac dealer for Indiana on the new side. Every used piggyback forklift goes through three stages before it's listed. Mechanical and hydraulic first: steam cleaned, inspected, run through its full range of operation, mast lift and tilt and side-shift tested against a 5,000 lb concrete block, hydraulics pressure and leak checked, worn hoses and cylinders and valves and motors and pins and bushings replaced. Then paint — most units partially disassembled, two-step urethane finish. Then final assembly and a last function check. Units sold with our operational guarantee carry a 30-day engine warranty.

Running both operations under one roof is the point. A truck, a trailer, a mounting kit, and a forklift can be matched, mounted, tested together, and shipped as a single working unit — instead of you sourcing four things from four vendors and hoping they fit. About 90% of what we sell ships more than 300 miles from our shop. We're an Indiana-licensed motor vehicle dealer serving lumberyards, building material suppliers, sod farms, and delivery fleets throughout the continental United States, with a parts department, service, and tech support after the sale.
